Eminem’s “Eminem Presents: The Re-Up” turns 14.
On this day 14 years ago, Eminem released the Shady Records’ compilation album “Eminem Presents: The Re-Up“. The project features material from Shady Records artists Eminem, D12, 50 Cent, Stat Quo, Bobby Creekwater, Obie Trice, Cashis, and some guest appearances from the likes of Nate Dogg, Akon, Lloyd Banks, and more.
The project debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 in the US and has since sold over a million copies in the US, and earned an RIAA platinum plaque.
The Re-Up by Eminem debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 list in the United States, selling around 309,000 copies in its first week. The album dropped to number 13 on the Billboard 200 in its second week, selling 151,000 copies. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album platinum on March 16, 2007, for sales of one million copies in the United States.
