Playboi Carti and NBA Youngboy teases new joint project.
It looks like NBA Youngboy and Playboi Carti are joining forces for a new full-length collab album. The untitled project already became one of the highly anticipated albums of the year, as both rappers have a huge fan following on social media.
The joint album speculation started after Carti shared a rare IG story, in which he posted a Youngboy picture, with an upside-down cross chain. “004KT,” he wrote in the caption, referencing the possible title for the album.

Celebrity jeweler Wafi amin Lalani then revealed through their social media that it was actually a gift from Carti to Youngboy, which is made from dozens of glistening diamonds. “@playboicarti GIFTS YOUNGBOY A CHAIN AHEAD OF THEIR NEW COLLAB ALBUM.”

While Youngboy Never Broke Again drops a lot of new projects every year, it’s been over three years since fans got an album from Carti. The last time Playboi released an album was in 2020 when he unleashed his “A Whole Lotta Red” effort.
Just recently, Youngboy released a new project titled “Richest Opp” amid reignited feud with Lil Durk. Before that, he dropped a 33-track album called “Don’t Try This At Home” with features from Post Malone, Nicki Minaj and more. Earlier this year, he also released a project called “I Rest My Case“.
