NBA Youngboy now has 20 videos with over 100m views on Youtube.
Eminem has dominated hip hop music for over 20 years, and the rapper is one of the best selling artists in music history. The Detroit rapper is also the top rap artist on video platform youtube, as he has 23 solo music videos with over 100 Million views, which is most by a hip hop act.
However, Youngboy Never Broke Again has emerged as one of the top artists in the past few years, with domination on Youtube. The young Baton Rouge rapper who started his music career in 2015, now already has 20 solo videos with over 100M views, and he’s closing in on Rap God at a rapid speed. The rapper is often called a “Youtube rapper”, as he generated most of his fan base through the platform. NBA’s top visuals include, “Outside Today”, “Valuable Pain”, “Through The Storm”, “House Arrest Tingz”, “Overdose” and more.
We can say that the “Colors” rapper had an edge over Shady as he started his rap journey in the social media era, while Youtube was founded in 2005, around 10 years after the start of Eminem’s career.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again, a Baton Rouge rapper, has an obvious grasp on YouTube. The 22-year-old celebrity has spent the last few years at the top of the platform’s artist rankings, where he has reaped the most of his success. According to a recent report, YoungBoy earns almost $17 million each year from YouTube alone. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that YB has been named as the top artist on YouTube every week in the first quarter of this year.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again has released 24 projects and 350 YouTube videos since 2015. He has 8 songs, 4 mixtapes, 1 studio album, and 1.4 billion video streams in 2020 alone (ranked no 1 for the year). He’s a well-oiled machine. It’s no surprise that he surpassed musicians like The Weeknd, Eminem, and Bad Bunny on Billboard’s earnings list in a year without touring money. Those artists get paid more each assignment, but NBA YoungBoy is a high-volume shooter. He has more in common with MrBeast than with the majority of other rappers.
The Detroit rapper also has 4 music videos (3 Solo) with over a billion views, including “Love The Way You Lie” with Rihanna, “Not Afraid”, “Without Me” and “Rap God”. Even a “Lose Yourself” video which is uploaded by a fan page, has over 1.1 Billion views. The legendary MC recently surpassed 50 Million subscribers on the platform, which is most by a hip-hop act.
Eminem and NBA Youngboy are way ahead of everyone else in terms of 100M music videos, as Nicki Minaj comes third with 14 videos, and Drake is on fourth with 10.
