Nas teases another new album.
It’s Nas season once again as the legendary rapper kicked off the campaign for his next project. The Mass Appeal boss took to his social media to share a cryptic teaser for his next album, which is possibly titled “Dark Mode”, as mentioned by his go-to collaborator Hit-Boy in the comments.
According to a Reddit Nas insider Exact_Contribution54, Nas is dropping the album on “July 21″. The fans think it is a sequel to Nas’ 2021 album Magic, as the Reddit account commented “Album [witch emoji, Vol. 2 book emoji].”

The album could possibly be another collab effort with Hit-Boy, as the two linked up four back-to-back projects in the past few years. Last year, the two linked up on “King’s Disease 3“, following “King’s Disease” (2020), “King’s Disease II” (2021) and “Magic” (2021).
“When I work with Nas, it’ll literally just be me and him in there… I’m doing the beats, he’s doing the rhymes,” Hit-Boy said in an interview. “And then a lot of times when you work with younger artists, they gon’ pull up with five, six, seven, maybe 10 ni**as with ’em, and it’s like, I’m really here to do my job.”
Just recently, Nas assisted Hit-Boy on his new album “Surf or Drown“, and Swizz Beatz on the “Hip Hop 50, Vol 2” project.
