Nas Says 50 Cent Changed the Whole Rap Game With His Debut Album

50 Cent brings out Nas in Los Angeles.

50 Cent continues his Final Lap Tour as the rapper’s latest stop was in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night. This time, the POWER mogul surprised the crowd with the star guest Nas, who performed “Hate Me Now” and “Made You Look.”

Following his performance, the King’s Disease hitmaker shouted out Fif for changing the whole rap game with the release of his 2003 debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin. “When this man dropped, the whole rap game changed,” he said. “Queens in the building, bruh. Shout out to Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda… my brothers. I love you, man.”

Just recently, Nas and 50 Cent collaborated on the song titled “Office Hours” which appeared on the “Magic 2” album. “Nas, when I first interacted with him, he was like, ‘Yo, who’s that?’” 50 Cent said previously. “’Cause the ‘How to Rob’ record got his attention. He’s like, ‘Yo, that’s like when I first came out. That energy is like raw.’ And he just wanted to see who I was. Just wanted me to be around and s–t like that. Then, he let me come on tour with him and he didn’t have to do that.”
