N.O.R.E. Gets Emotional As He Celebrated 25th Anniversary Of His Debut Album

N.O.R.E.’s self-titled debut album turns 25.

N.O.R.E. has been in the game for nearly three decades, and the rapper-turned-podcast host acknowledges 25 years of his self-titled debut album. An emotional Noreaga took to his social media to share moments from the 25th-anniversary celebration of his debut album.

“I got to celebrate 25 years of my first album !!!” he wrote in the caption. “I cried in the bathroom didn’t want anyone to see !!! I’m so thankful and greatful and humble !!! If u a cnn fan, a Nore fan or drinkchamps fan I LOVE U AND THANK U!!!”

The rapper received love from the likes of Busta Rhymes, Ice T, Talib Kweli and Fat Joe in the comment section. “CONGRATS ALMIGHTY!!” wrote Busta with some fire emojis. “We love you champ you just getting started!” wrote Kweli.

N.O.R.E. Says He Was The Hottest Rapper In The World In 1998

N.O.R.E.’s debut album dropped back in 1998 through Penalty Recordings. The project featured appearances from Big Pun, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Kid Capri, Nas, Styles P, Cam’ron and more. It debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart with sales of 165,000 in its first week.

“This is my first solo Album !!!,” he wrote previously. “It dropped today july 7th 1998 it was hard on me cause my father died a couple days before on July 3rd !!! In his career, Noreaga released seven studio albums, which the most recent “5E” in 2018. NORE and DJ EFN reunited in 2016 to began the “Drink Champs” podcast, which became one of the most popular rap podcasts. The two previously worked together for a satellite radio show for Sirius XM called Militainment Crazy Raw Radio between 2009 and 2011.
