Irv Gotti passed away at 54.

Irv Gotti, the co-founder of Murder Inc. Records label has passed away at the age of 54, as confirmed by TMZ, The Hollywood Reporter and other outlets. The cause of death of the record executive & music producer is still unknown. In the past, Gotti produced noted songs from Ja Rule, DMX, JAY-Z and more.

Ja Rule took to his social media and shared a broken heart emoji. “RIP Irv Gotti. Thanks for believing in me early in my career. I’ll never forget that. Condolences to your family,” wrote KXNG Crooked.

50 Cent, who has been beefing with Gotti over the years, reacted to the news in his own style. “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack, nah God bless him LOL,” he wrote with a picture of himself smoking hookah.
