Mike WiLL Made-It desires a sequel to 8 Mile by Eminem.
In around one month’s time, it will be the 20th anniversary of Eminem’s hit film “8 Mile” which was released in November 2002, with roles from Mekhi Phifer, Brittany Murphy, Anthony Mackie, Kim Basinger and more. The fans are still waiting for another movie from the Detroit rapper, while some want a sequel to 8 Mile.
Mike WiLL Made-It now also says that Slim Shady needs to do the part of the film, which could show the story after he blew up. “Eminem need to do 8 Mile 2… his story when he got the deal & shxt went up..,” he wrote.

The Eminem starrer film was a critical and box office success. It opened at No. 1 in the US with $51.3 million grossed in its opening weekend and an eventual total of $242.9 million worldwide. The Recording Industry Association of America recognized the album’s score as quadruple platinum, indicating its financial success. The classic “Lose Yourself” was also honoured with an Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 75th Academy Awards.
The award was received by co-writer Luis Resto even though Eminem was not available at the presentation. The movie received 32 nominations for awards, taking home 11. In an unexpected performance at the 2020 Academy Awards, Eminem performed the song 17 years later.
