Megan Thee Stallion celebrates new wax figures at Madame Tussauds.
Megan Thee Stallion adds accolade to her career as the rapper is honoured with not one, but two wax figures at Madame Tussauds. The three-time Grammy award winner unveiled the two wax figures, with will be placed at Madame Tussauds in New York and in Las Vegas.
It reportedly took a team of 20 artists to make the figures, which took them about six months. The process includes more than 200 measurements and matching her eyes, hair, and skin from samples.
“We couldn’t have hoped for more ‘Good News’ than the addition of not one but two Megan Thee Stallion wax figures into our Las Vegas and New York attractions,” said Matthew Clarkson, head of marketing for Madame Tussauds. “Everybody here at Madame Tussauds loves her music, confidence, style, and star power, which serves as an inspiration to so many.”
“I feel like people always ask me when was the moment you knew you were famous? This is the moment,” Megan said, in a press release. “There are two versions of me in the most famous wax museum on the planet. Like who am I?!? Them!”
“I honestly wanted to kiss myself [heart eyes, drooling face and tears of joy emojis] hotties we are officially legendary [face with tongue sticking out emoji] go see me at @madametussaudsusa,” wrote Megan in the caption.
