Lord Jamar Disagrees with Eminem Saying Tupac is Greatest Songwriter of All Time

Lord Jamar doesn’t think Tupac is the greatest songwriter of all time.

Last month, Eminem went live on his radio channel Shade 45 where he revealed the tracklist for his fans to listen in quarantine which was called ‘Music To Be Quarantined By‘. During the live stream, he also said that Tupac is the greatest songwriter of all time, before playing some of his music. In an interview with Vladtv, E.D.I. Mean of the Outlawz discussed Lord Jamar remark that Tupac was not the greatest songwriter of all time, as Eminem asserted. Eminem and Lord Jamar, as we all know, have a strained relationship.

Lord Jamar made a visit to DJ Vlad’s show for a new interview and as always, the host asked him a question relating to Eminem. Vlad told him that Eminem thinks Tupac is the greatest songwriter of all time, and if he agrees with him. Lord Jamar answered and said that he disagrees with Eminem. “Disagree, because he had some good songs but I don’t know if he had the greatest songs of all time, like get some good songs. I loved Tupac but no,” said Jamar.

Lord Jamar, ever the diligent social critic, weighs in on hip-lyrics hop’s versus charisma, rappers with different sources of income, the use of drugs in potentially dangerous settings, and what it means to have multiple chains. “It’s saying, ‘I know how to obtain money,’” Jamar explains. “Once is luck, twice is competence.
