Logic responds to Joe Budden’s criticism.
Over the years, Joe Budden has trashed Logic’s music, and recently he urged the “Bobby Tarantino” rapper to quit music and join him in retirement.
“Logic, I hate to continue to make a career at your expense,” he began. “I don’t hate it, actually. I’m glad that I have a little list of you that I get to — [laughs] that’s horrible to say. One day I’m gonna grow up.
“Logic, I beg of you, I’m pleading with you: please join me in retirement. Never step near a recording device again! Throw your phone in the ocean! Be allergic to microphones! Promise your fans nothing! Don’t go to the studio ever again! You are the worst, yo! You are really, really bad!”
Now Logic sat down with MSNBC’s Ari Melber for a new interview, where he finally responds to the former Slaughterhouse emcee. “A hurt man, a very smart man and a f**king hater,” he responded with a laugh on how he feel about Budden.
In a previous interview with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg, Logic stated that Budden comments make people take their own life. “He doesn’t like me for whatever reason.” said Logic. “He wants to say I’m not Black enough, I’m not good enough. He’s a person who’s led to part of my depression, some of my darkest spaces. Your words, they make people want to kill themselves, bro.”
This is not the first time Budden has taken jabs at Logic, having previously referred to him as “one of the worst rappers to ever grace a microphone.”
