Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter VI” is coming soon.
After a postponed show last week, Drake finally teamed up with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj at the Young Money Reunion show as part of “October World Weekend” concerts. The hip-hop giants reunited in front of the sold out crowd at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto.
Just at the end of the show, Lil Wayne surprised the crowd with an announcement of his next studio album “Tha Carter VI”. “I am working on Tha Carter VI, coming soon,” he said.

The project will be a sequel to the fifth instalment of the Carter series, which was dropped in 2018. The rapper is also working on a joint project with 2 Chainz, a sequel to their 2016’s album “ColleGrove”.
The Shade Room posted an Instagram video of Lil Wayne at the Young Money Reunion performance in Toronto last night, where he is joined onstage by fellow Young Money superstars Drake and Nicki Minaj. I’m working on Tha Carter VI coming soon,” Weezy F. Baby shouts as he approaches the center of the stage as they are ready to wrap up the performance. While everybody left the stage, a still photo with the words “THA CARTER VI” appeared on the video screen.
