KXNG Crooked Speaks on Dr. Dre's Impact on Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent & Kendrick Lamar's Careers

KXNG Crooked talks about Dr. Dre helping others careers including Kendrick Lamar.

KXNG Crooked addresses the whole Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg & Royce da 5’9″ situation. Ever since Snoop Dogg omitted Eminem from his Top 10 list, many stans have taken the claims that Dr. Dre ‘made’ Eminem in a negative way and has been calling out Snoop, and also Eminem’s good friend and one half of Bad Meets Evil, Royce da 5’9″ who choose “Doggystyle” over any Em’s project.

One thing should be clear: many Stans have interpreted Dre’s claim that he “created” Eminem negatively, even if Eminem would certainly admit the same. On “I Need A Doctor,” he accomplished exactly that, writing a brutally honest assessment of his relationship with his longtime musical mentor. Nonetheless, the fact that Dre influenced him to become the musician he is today should never be taken as a slight, but rather as proof that musical compatibility, shared vision, and trust can lead to greatness. In any case, Crook countered a fan’s claim that “all Dre did was provide a platform,” claiming that the Doc had never produced “another prodigy” since then. Crook explains, “Dre did more than just give a platform.” “He did it for both Snoop and Em. 50 and Kendrick both profited from Dre’s fame, prestige, longevity, and talent.” While he doesn’t go into detail, it’s evident that he’s referring to all of the intangibles Dre brings to the table, especially in a studio environment. Where do you believe Eminem learned to mix in such a unique way?

Yesterday, Royce da 5’9″ got furious on stans army as he said that “Their unconditional love is no longer accepted“. Now the slaughterhouse member KXNG Crooked shares his views on a fan’s take who said that all Dre did was provide a platform. “Dre did more than just provide a platform. Way more..” tweeted Crooked. “and he did it for both Snoop and Em. 50 and Kendrick also benefited from Dre’s name, status, longevity, and talent.

He also asked Stans to stop trying to discredit Dr. Dre’s impact. “I know some Stans are upset but don’t try to belittle Dr. Dre.. Yes, Dre benefited from working with all the artists he signed but understand he was already highly respected, successful, and could’ve easily passed on any one of them but HE gave them the opportunity n they delivered.

Earlier this year, the former Slaughterhouse member participated on Em’s Music to Be Murdered By, and he released a picture indicating that the same album will be getting a b-side this week. The picture has been making the rounds on Twitter among Em’s following recently, revealing not only the suspected deluxe reissue’s release date but also a tracklist that includes collaborations with Cordae, Royce D 5’9″, Boogie, Bon Iver, and Phoebe Bridgers.

KXNG Crooked and Eminem have collaborated on several songs throughout the year. Crooked and the rest of Slaughterhouse were hired by Eminem in 2010 for “Session One,” a bonus track on Em’s Recovery album. Bad Meets Evil (Eminem and Royce Da 5’9) collaborated with Slaughterhouse a year later for “Loud Noises” from Hell: The Sequel.

Crooked was recently tapped by Eminem for the Music To Be Murdered By tune “I Will,” which featured teammate Slaughterhouse alum Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9. Put simply, their collaborative connection grows and evolves, although fans will have to await and see whether Eminem appears on Crooked’s follow-up to 2017’s Good vs. Evil II: The Red Empire project.

KXNG Crooked also responded to a fan who accused him of ‘D**k riding’ Eminem.
