Kid Cudi gets his first-ever RIAA Diamond certification.
Kid Cudi has a reason to celebrate as the rapper earned his first ever RIAA Diamond certification for his song titled “Pursuit of Happiness”. The song has moved 10 million units in the United States.
It was produced by the electronic rock duo Ratatat and featured vocals from the neo-psychedelic act MGMT. The song was released as the third single from Cudi’s debut album “Man on the Moon: The End of Day” which was dropped in 2009.

This year, the Ohio native released his eighth studio album “Entergalactic“, and it was accompanied by an animated music special of the same name which premiered on Netflix. It starred voices from Cudi, Ty Dolla Sign, Jessica Williams, Teyana Taylor, Jaden Smith and more.
Cudder also said that his 2016 album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ was originally intended to be Man on The Moon III, which was published as his next solo studio album in 2020.
