Key Glock shares the Young Dolph tribute song “Proud”.
The late Memphis rapper Young Dolph‘s label Paper Route EMPIRE is prepping the release of a new tribute compilation album “Long Live Dolph” which is scheduled to drop this Friday. Before the project drops, Young Dolph’s protege Key Glock decided to honour the later rapper with a new song “Proud”.
“F**k that humble s**t, let’s go / You know I’m spazzin’ out ’bout mine / I got Dolph lookin’ down on me / I know that ni**a proud,” he raps.
“damn bro, im LOST,” Glock shared on his IG after the death of Young Dolph. “My heart is torn my brain bout to explode it HURTS when I breathe..why you leave me so soon? I’ll never be the same, you was my lefthand man,my brother,my cousin,my mentor and drank partner for the past 2 years I been taking LOSS AFTER LOSS and still can’t understand why.”
Key Glock raps in front of a monument at Makeda’s Cookies in Memphis, where Young Dolph was shot and died, along with flowers and mementos honouring the late artist, in the accompanying music video. “LONG LIVE DOLPH,” says the inscription at the end of the new graphic.
