Kanye West’s “DONDA” earns around 100m streams on Spotify globally.
Kanye West’s new long-delayed album “DONDA” finally released on all streaming platforms on Sunday morning. The star-studded 10th studio album by Kanye West has already broken many records on the first day. According to chart data, the project breaks the record as the album to hit #1 in most countries in Apple Music History. The album topped Apple Music in around 130 countries on the first day.

Kanye West currently occupies the entire top 10 on the US Spotify chart today and 25 songs from the album chart in the top 40. It is also revealed that the album earned almost 100 million first-day streams on the global Spotify chart. It is the second biggest album in Spotify history. The album with the most first-day global streams is Drake’s 2018 album “Scorpion” with 132 million streams.
Furthermore, the JAY-Z and Francis and the Lights-assisted cut “Jail” debuted at No. 1 on the US Spotify Chart with 4.277 million plays, making it the greatest debut of a song in 2021.
