Kanye West ditches cellphone ahead of “Donda 2” release.
It was recently revealed that Kanye West has started working on “Donda 2“, a sequel to his last year’s masterpiece. Then Ye unveiled that the project will release sooner than everyone expected, and announced that the album will drop on 2-22-22, next month. The project will be executive produced by Future, and it will be a star-studded effort after all the recent studio sessions with several top artists.

Now to focus on the album, Kanye West has put out a message that he won’t be using his cellphone until “Donda 2” releases. “I don’t have a phone until two, twenty-two, twenty-two,” he said a video. “My focus is taking my kids to school and finishing the album.”

It is not the first time the GOOD Music boss ditched his mobile phone to focus on the music, as he previously did the same thing before the release of his eighth studio album “Ye”. “for anyone whose tried to text or call me in the past 2 weeks. I got rid of that phone so I could focus on these albums,” he said in 2018.
Kanye West has recently collaborated with Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, The Game, Big Sean, Fivio Foreign, Hit-Boy, Scarface, DJ Khaled, will.i.am, and NFL player Antonio Brown in the studio. He’s also hinted at a collaboration with Moneybagg Yo, who he requested a verse from through text earlier this month.
