French Montana calls Kanye West a “true leader” after getting compliments for his mind and creativity.
Kanye West is prepping the release of his upcoming new album “Donda 2“, which is scheduled to drop on 2/22/22. In recent weeks, the rapper had been linking up with several artists, and also had a studio session with “They Got Amnesia” rapper French Montana. Now French Montana shares a screenshot of text from Ye, and called him a “true leader” for the compliments.
“This is why I reached out. Your mind and creativity. I’ll get you to the Billion,” says Ye in the text. “Big bro a true leader outcheah,” wrote Montana in the caption of the post.
The two previously met in December at the Donda Academy Homecoming basketball game at Whittier College in Los Angeles, where French Montana gifted Ye a pair of Coke Boys LA Ave Sneakers. However, the sneakers end up on eBay after the GOOD Music boss forgot the shoes in the locker room.
Despite the fact that he is already a billionaire, Kanye has stayed focused on finding his next business venture. West’s firm Mascotte Holdings, Inc. submitted a trademark registration in September to utilise his name on a range of home decor goods. Ye registered a new trademark in October under his Mascotte Holdings, Inc. corporation to utilise the name “Donda” on a range of electrical devices.
Meanwhile, despite his renowned hip-hop prominence, French has not lost his hunger. Montana expressed to Ebro Darden in December how it felt to see so many other musicians “surpass” him.
