Ghostface Killah reveals that Kanye West will executive produce his upcoming album “Supreme Clientele 2”, along with Mike Dean.
Ghostface Killah had been working on his upcoming album “Supreme Clientele 2” for some time now, and he finally reveals some new updates regarding the project. Last year, the Wu-Tang Clan member teased the making of the project on his social media, and now after a year, we finally have a release date. Ghostface took to r/hiphopheads on Reddit, where he shared that the album will be executive produced by Kanye West, Mike Dean, and producerpluguni.com. He also revealed that the album will be released next year in February 2022.
For a long time, Ghostface has hinted at a sequel to SC. Back in October of 2020, the Wu-Tang Clan member posted a photograph of himself on his Instagram profile, assuring his fans that he is working on SC 2. In the caption, he added, “Supreme 2 IN THE MAKING!!!!!”
Following his first album Ironman in 1996, Ghostdini’s second solo release was Supreme Clientele. Ghostface Killahs, Ghostface’s most recent album, was released in 2019.
The long-awaited project is a sequel to New York rapper’s second solo studio album, which was released way back in 2000, through Epic Records. The album featured guest appearances from Redman, Raekwon, RZA, Method Man, GZA, Masta Killa, and more. The album sold 134k copies in the first week and debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200.
Kanye West recently released his new album “DONDA” and now he will reportedly work on new projects from Fivio Foreign and Pusha T. Yesterday, Netflix also announced a new Kanye West docuseries called “Jeen-Yuhs” with a trailer.
Later this week, Ghostface Killah will join forces with Raekwon and GZA to kick off their “3 Chambers” tour, with the first show in Minneapolis on October 1st.
