Kanye West’s Sound team trends after rapper throw the mic at the “DONDA 2” event.
Kanye West was supposed to drop his new album “Donda 2” today and as expected the project has been delayed. However, the rapper did give a live experience of the project in Miami, just like he performed for the previous album. During the concert, Ye played several new songs, including collabs with Travis Scott, Future, Migos, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, Pusha T as well as Soulja Boy.
But one moment from the concert is going viral when the rapper was performing “Donda” cut “Jail”, alongside DaBaby and Marilyn Manson. During the performance, there was some glitch in the mic audio, and the frustrated Kanye West throws his mic. The moment turned into a meme fest as fans brought up the entire Sound engineer team. “Audio engineers make Kanye West throw his Mic…..Guess who’s getting fired tonight,” a fan wrote.
As many people recall, Kanye had three record listening parties for his debut Donda album last summer. The first two were staged in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the third at Soldier Field in Ye’s birthplace of Chicago. Donda 1 went on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 list, becoming Kanye’s 10th number one album in a row.
Donda 1 was delayed three times, resulting in three listening incidents. It’ll be fascinating to see whether the sequel continues in that vein.
