Genius reveals their most viewed artists of 2021.
Earlier this week, the list of best selling albums of 2021 were revealed, which features artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Drake, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Kanye West and more. In the songs list, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo dominated with their singles “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U”. Now Genius, the top lyrics platform has unveiled the year-end list of their top artists.
The legendary Kanye West, who dominated half of 2021 since the release of his latest album “DONDA“, is Genius’ most viewed artist of this year with a total of 34.1 Million page views. Taylor Swift, who dropped two new versions of “Red” and “Fearless”, is number 2 on the list. She is followed by Drake, who had the biggest first-week debut of 2021 with his latest album “Certified Lover Boy“.
The Genius’ lists can’t go without Eminem as the Detroit rapper finished the year on number 4. Even though Shady hasn’t dropped a major project this year, he’s still able to rack up huge numbers on Genius.

As far as top songs go, Olivia Rodrigo’s hit “Drivers License” topped the list as it’s lyrics were viewed over 3.6 million times. The next on the list is BTS’ “Butter” and Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever”. Cardi B’s hit “Up” also made the list as it’s ranked on number 4.
Eminem was named Genius’ lyricist of the year in 2020, which is a totally appropriate position for an artist who releases a lyrically dense album like “Music to Be Murdered By.” Marshall’s current rating demonstrates what he can accomplish without even trying.
