Kanye West slams TMZ for not being the fair media.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have traded words on social media after Ye’s criticism for his daughter North West being on the platform TikTok. “Since this is my first divorce I need to know what I should do about my daughter being put on tik tok against my will?,” he asked with a picture of North’s TikTok profile.
Kanye retaliated with a screenshot of TikTok’s age restriction, stating that youngsters under the age of 12 should not use the app. He then demanded an explanation from Kim as to what she meant by ‘main provider,’ claiming she placed security on him during their daughter’s birthday party and attempted to ‘kidnap’ their daughter by refusing to disclose him the party’s address.
The news was also shared by TMZ, with a headline “Kanye West Shades Kim Kardashian Over North West on TikTok.” The headline was corrected by a Kanye West fanpage “Corrects Ye Headlines”, which is also shared by the rapper himself. “TMZ my children are not a game to me I need an apology for how you tried to spin the narrative you are not being a fair media source you’re picking sides against the dad,” wrote the rapper.

After Ye’s post about North West, Kim Kardashian responded through her IG story, where she slammed the rapper for “constant attacks” on her. “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” she said. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision—because it brings her happiness. Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all. From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a health and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way. I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”

The GOOD Music boss then snapped back at Kim K for calling herself “main provider” of their kids, and he also dragged her publicist Tracy Romulus. “What do you mean by main provider ?,” he asked. “America saw you try to kid nap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way…”
He also shared a screenshot of TikTok’s terms and conditions, which stated that the minimum age for using the platform is 13, and while North West is 8 years old, she should get removed from the site as per their policy.
The tension between West and Kim comes after the couple was married from 2014 until last year, when Kim filed for divorce due to marital difficulties. Kim began dating Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson only months after filing for divorce. Kanye West is now seeing Julia Fox, an actress.
Despite this, the couple had four children. There’s also Chicago, Psalm, and Saint West, in addition to North West. Kanye seems to desire a little more say and engagement in their lives than he presently has, despite Kim’s belief that his public outbursts and antics are hurting them.
