Kanye West announces “Use This Gospel” remix with Eminem.
Kanye West has been using Twitter a lot since the last few days where he asked for a public apology from J. Cole and Drake, called out Universal Records, and also pissed on one of his Grammy trophies. On Friday (Sept. 18), Kanye West took to Twitter to express his gratitude to Eminem for performing on the upcoming single, noting that it is presently one of his daughters North West’s favorite songs from her father’s discography.
Ye said that George Floyd died of Fentanyl. Click here to see the interview.
Now he revealed that there is a Dr. Dre Remix of his track called “Use This Gospel” which also features Eminem. “THANK YOU EMINEM, I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED AND RESPECTED YOU AND IM HONORED TO HAVE YOU BLESS THIS SONG“, wrote Kanye.
As he continued to discuss rights issues in the music industry, West tweeted shortly after thanking Eminem that he would “personally” help Taylor Swift get her master recordings back.
The rapper sparked a debate over record deals and artists’ rights earlier this week (September 15) when he revealed his personal Sony and Universal contracts. West shared pages of his contracts on Twitter and stated that he would not release any new songs until the contracts were terminated. He also referred to himself as “the new Moses” and said that the music industry is a “modern-day slave ship.”
Kanye West has stated on Twitter that he wishes to make a gospel album for Destiny’s Child. He posted a video of himself on a radio blaring Michelle Williams’ song Say Yes. Beyonce and Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child appear on the track. He’s also ranting about record companies and record deals. He even posted a video of a guy peeing on one of his Grammys. Here’s a glance at Kanye West’s Twitter account.
“Use This Gospel” peaked at number 37 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in the week after the release of Jesus Is King, with 17.3 million streams. The song was Clipse’s sixth to chart on the Hot 100, and it was the duo’s first appearance since the single “Ma, I Don’t Love Her” in 2003.
The remix of “Use This Gospel” by Dr. Dre, Kanye West, and Eminem that appeared on DJ Khaled’s most recent studio album, GOD DID, have been discussed openly.
Khaled shared, “God bless, God is great, so I didn’t want to hit him back right away because I didn’t have my energy, my spirit wasn’t. If I’m going to talk to Dre, my idol, I got to feel DJ Khaled, he got to hear DJ Khaled. I was working on another record that I wanted to present to him that I produced, that I wanted to present to him to get on, and I never played it for him. That’s what I’m saying, this is God Did, instead I was blessed to get a gift from Dr. Dre, Kanye West, and Eminem, produced by Dr. Dre, man.”
