Juvenile argues with Lil Wayne over JAY-Z’s goat status.
Lil Wayne has been an enormous fan of JAY-Z, and he often acknowledged Hov as the greatest rapper of all time. However, Juvenile doesn’t agree with Lil Wayne over this, as he calls the Young Money the GOAT rapper.
During the red carpet of BMI’s annual award event, Juvenile calls Wayne the greatest rapper. “We’ve argued over the years. He say Jay-Z is the GOAT, I say he the GOAT,” said Juvenile. “My lil’ bro the greatest rapper of all time. He know how I feel about that.”

At the BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards in Miami, Weezy received the huge honor of the Icon Award. “Where do I begin?” Nicki Minaj said in honor of Wayne through a virtual appearance. “You know what, I just wanna say, I so greatly appreciate your contributions that you have made to the culture of rap. Thank you for all of the inspiring things you’ve said to me personally to make me want to go super duper hard. Thank you for just always being the genius you are and the leader you are.”

“First of all, I want to thank God of course,” said Wayne while accepting the award. “Thank my family of course. My people, my Young Money family but, most importantly, it’s all about the fans. So, if you are a fan or a supporter of myself, I appreciate you. Please know that I pray for you every day–you are a blessing to me.”
