Jay-Z and Beyonce continue their domination of the industry’s biggest star couple. The two have now tied for the most nominations in Grammy Awards history. The rapper and singer’s duo are now nominated 88 times in Grammys history.

Before the 2023 Grammy nominations the other day, Hov was the most nominated artist with 83 noms. The rapper earned 5 more nominations this year, which include Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Song of the year for his contribution to DJ Khaled’s “God Did” album.
Paul McCartney, who has received 81 total nominations, and Quincy Jones, who has received 80, are close behind them.

Beyonce is the most nominated artist this year with 9 nods. She earned nominations for categories like Album of the year, Record of the year, Song of the year, Best R&B performance, Best R&B Song and more for her latest comeback album “Renaissance“.
In addition to Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar received eight Grammy nominations, Adele received seven, while Future, Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, and DJ Khaled each received six.
Importantly, the 2023 Grammy Awards is the first time Beyonce and Adele compete for Record, Album, and Song Of The Year since Adele won all three categories in 2017.
