Jack Harlow reacts to a huge co-sign from Kanye West.
Kanye West has been continuously posting about Pete Davidson and his new album “Donda 2” on IG, but the rapper took some time to show some appreciation to Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow. The “What’s Poppin” hitmaker made his return to the music with his brand new single “Nail Tech“, which is produced by Canadian producer Boi-1da, and the official video features a cameo from Yung Miami.
Ye shared the screenshot of the music video on his social media and wrote, “This ni**a can raaaaaaap bro And I’m saying ni**a as a compliment. Top 5 out right now.”
Jack Harlow reposted Kanye’s post on his socials and called it one of the greatest moments of his life. “This right here…is one of the greatest moments of my entire life…glad y’all all get front row seats to it…suddenly all the hate means nothing…imagine your hero saying this about you…I could cry,” he wrote.
Previously, Jack Harlow also praised Kanye West and said that the “DONDA” rollout will be remembered for years. In an unreported piece from a Variety interview from late last year, Harlow expressed his respect for West. He cited “Kanye notes” during a segment of the talk regarding musicians managing their image and “brand.” When asked what they were, Harlow said, “I don’t know.” “[It’s like he’s saying his identity is] ‘always gonna shift, and I can always steer the narrative and reinvent. I’m not pigeonholed, and who I am right now and the music I’m making has nothing to do with where I’m gonna be in a year.’ That’s Kanye notes — you can’t tell Kanye what he is and what he isn’t. I salute that so much.”
