Dreamville Festival 2022 is announced by J. Cole.
After getting postponed due to the Pandemic, Dreamville Festival will make its return in 2022. The second Dreavmille Festival was previously teased by J. Cole in June, and now the dates have been confirmed along with a trailer.
“It’s exciting to finally be back,” said Dreamville Partner and Festival President, Adam Roy. “Ever since we wrapped our first fest, we’ve been waiting to get back to the park with our Dreamville family. We had to come back bigger and better than before. With the fest moving to two days, Dreamville Festival is about to become the festival our team has always dreamt about. We want this to grow into one of the premier annual music experiences in the country.”
The two-day event will take place on April 2-3, 2022, and tickets will go on sale this week on October 1 @10AM at Dreamville Fest’s official website. The festival will take place in Raleigh, North Carolina, and will feature label boss J. Cole, along with Dreamville acts like Bas, JID, EARTHGANG, Ari Lennox, and more.
WowGr8 of EarthGang broke the news in a local section parody in which he played anchor, meteorologist, and sports reporter. “After three long years of struggling… Dreamville Fest is back. And it’s two days!” he announced, later joking, “This will be the festival’s fourth year despite only having one actual appearance. Truly, the world’s most resilient festival.”
J. Cole is currently on “the off-season” tour which kicked off last week in Miami and featured surprise appearances from Drake and Future.
