50 Cent responds to Irv Gotti comment on Blocking him
Irv Gotti recently sat down with Hot 107.9’s B Hight where he revealed some interesting things regarding his longtime nemesis 50 Cent. In the show, Irv Gotti said that he used to block 50 Cent from landing label deals until Fiddy signed with Dr. Dre and Eminem.
“I blocked the ni**a until he fell into Em and Dre’s lap,” said Gotti. “Labels would call me and I was so hot, I was just the hottest thing, I’d be like, ‘Yo, if you f**k with him, I ain’t f**kin’ with you and they’d be like, ‘We ain’t f**kin’ with him then Gotti, forget it.’”
Now 50 Cent responded to Irv by sharing his interview clip with a caption. “Now everybody knows why i act the way i act. These sucka a** ni66a’s be out here working against you, instead of working on their own sh*t. now look at them, all f**ked up. B!tch ass ni66as.”
Gotti and 50 have been exchanging barbs on social media for some time. In May, when word of Southwest T and Big Meech’s impending release spread, 50 reminded Gotti that he still owed them money.
“yo @irvgotti187 you best be coming up with that bread you borrowed from Big T in Encino you sucker ass ni**a,” 50 wrote in a since-deleted post. “you didnt go see him or put nothing on his books. yeah he home now so you can stretch out to him or get stretched.”
B High had asked Gotti what advice he would offer his younger self, and one of the things he said was that he would let 50 sign with Atlantic instead of stopping him. Gotti claimed in the video that he knew his power at the time and that simply saying he didn’t meddle with 50 would be enough to sway labels in the opposite route.
