The Detroit rapper joined Snoop Dogg to premiere their brand new song “From The D 2 The LBC”, which debuted with a Bored Ape Inspired music video at the event.
The two physically turn into Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs in a mixed animated /live action environment while Eminem becomes high from the passive smoking. The song had its debut at the conclusion of this year’s ApeFest, an annual gathering of BAYC and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) members in Manhattan, New York.
At the event, the “Lose Yourself” rapper several other artists, including Dave East, Cordae, Bobby Shmurda and others. Illa Da Producer, who previously worked with Shady on multiple tracks, finally connected with him for the first time in real life. The producer shared the picture on his social media, with a story behind making Machine Gun Kelly diss “Killshot“.
Eminem Meet & Hugs Cordae & Bobby Shmurda At ApeFest 2022
“These are the moments you never forget! I’ve produced 7 records for @eminem but last night was the first time we got to connect IRL. He told me he was looking through beats for 2 days then when he heard the beat that would eventually become KILLSHOT he instantly knew that was the one🤯 I’m beyond humbled and grateful that he loves my music as much as I love his! Truly a legend and the MF GOAT!!,” he wrote.
Apart from the MGK diss, the two worked together on songs like “The Ringer”, “Normal”, “Good Guy” and more.
