Hailie Jade introduces her fiancé Evan McClintock on her Podcast.
Earlier this month, Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade engaged to her longtime boyfriend Evan McClintock. She now introduced her fiance through her ‘Just A Little Shady’ podcast, where the two talked about behind-the-scenes details of the whole thing, and how he took Eminem’s blessing before proposing her.
“You went through the whole thing, you went through the whole process. You asked for permission… at a family gathering, over the holidays,” said Hailie at around the 7:00 minute mark.
“Yeah, it was over the holidays,” responds Evan. “I was just looking for an opportunity not to make it too obvious. So I saw your dad go downstairs and I’m like, ‘Alright. I gotta do it right now or I am not doing it today. I am gonna have to schedule some other time. So I just followed him downstairs and thankfully, he was just down there, grabbing your cake.”
The fiancé revealed that he sought guidance from Scott’s sister, Alaina Marie Scott, when choosing the ring. He explained that she advised him on what not to get. Hailie found this amusing and responded by saying, “That’s all I told her, so that makes sense.”
In her engagement post earlier this month, Hailie wrote: “casual weekend recap… [crying & heart emoji] 2.4.23 [ring emoji] i love you @evanmcclintock11.”
