Future and Metro Boomin tops the Billboard 200 with “We Don’t Trust You”.
The first week numbers for Future and Metro Boomin’s new album “We Don’t Trust You” are here, and the duo topped the Billboard chart with the biggest album sales this year. According to Luminate, the new collab album moved 251,000 equivalent album units in the first week, which is the biggest for any genre in 2024.
This is Future’s ninth number 1 album and Boomin’s fourth. Pluto also earned the second-largest sales week of his career, while Metro earned his biggest ever.

Upon its release, the project also became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 so far. It earned 59 million streams on its first day on Spotify, which is among the top 20 biggest debuts for a rap album ever in Spotify history. In the first week, the album was streamed 257 million times on Spotify, which is the biggest ever for both artists.
The album earned a boost from Social media following Kendrick Lamar’s surprise verse on “Like That”, where he fired shots at Drake and J. Cole. Future and Metro Boomin also released music videos for “Type Sh-t” featuring Travis Scott & Playboi Carti, and “Young Metro” with The Weeknd.
