Flavor Flav talked about the upcoming Dr. Dre album.
Dr. Dre has been working on his highly anticipated upcoming album for some time now, and he continues to invite some of his peers for the listening session, as well as recording. The latest guest at the Dr. Dre house was the legendary Flavor Flav, the co-founder of the rap group Public Enemy in 1985 with Chuck D.
Flavor Flav recently sat down with Steve-O’s Wild Ride! Podcast for a new interview, where he revealed that he recorded something for upcoming Dre’s project. “I was just over Dre’s house a week and a half ago man, one of the best people in the world man,” he said. “Not only that but I’m honored for him to have me record something at his house for his upcoming album that’s getting ready to come out. Flavor Fav on a Dr. Dre album, that’s big for me.”
Flavor Flav isn’t the only legend who’s visited Dr. Dre’s studio. Grandmaster Flash shared a photo of himself with Dr. Dre earlier this month. He didn’t disclose that he was on the album, but he did say that Dre’s music was “game-changing.”
Earlier this month, Dr. Dre invited Grandmaster Flash to his house to talk about music and more. After that, Dr. Dre played 2 hours of unreleased music to Diamond D & Xzibit.
When KXNG Crooked came into Dre’s studio in June, he stated he “saw 146 tracks on a huge a** list.” Flash claimed that the record will “transform the game” nearly two months later. “Here in LA doing the Disco Oasis with Nile Rogers tonite,” he wrote on Instagram. “I get a call from one of my heroes he invites me to the CRIB he takes me down to the STUDIO he played me a project that will change the game!! Totally incredible, we top off the day for 2hrs talkin about Music, Family Health and Life. Thanks for the Invite Dr Dre.”
