Fat Joe Explains Why A Verzuz battle with 50 Cent isn’t happening.
After an iconic Verzuz Battle between The LOX and Dipset, now another new showdown is going to take place soon, this time between Fat Joe and Ja Rule. The battle between the two rappers will take place on September 14th. “The summer ain’t over!!” Verzuz co-creator Swizz Beatz wrote on Instagram revealing the news. But fans wanted to see a battle between Fat Joe and 50 Cent, which is unlikely to happen, according to the South Bronx legend.
In a new Instagram live stream, Fat Joe says, “We gave him [50 Cent] the option,” says Fat Joe. “He did not want to go against me. He not doing the Verzuz.”
“He doesn’t want to do it,” he continues. “It’s not cause he scared or he’s not one of the greatest who ever lived. He ain’t f**king with that. I tell you what 50 Cent gon’ be a billionaire, a real billionaire… 50 Cent got a bunch of TV shows. That’s not rap music. That’s a different type of money.”

The POWER mogul is currently working on his new show “BMF” which will also feature a guest star appearance from his good friend, the legendary Eminem. He will play a cameo in the role of White Boy Rick.
