Phil Foden reacts to hairstyle comparisons with Eminem.
Phil Foden, the English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Manchester City, had a great season at the Premier League this year, but the young player is trending for something else. The 21-year-old Phil Foden recently rocked a new hairstyle, blonde buzzcut, which instantly had people comparing it to Slim Shady aka Eminem.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the English footballer responds to all the comparisons and claimed he has had this hairstyle for some time now. “I have had the same haircut for what seems ages now, so I thought I’d try something new. I woke up this morning with a lot of comparisons to Gazza and Eminem. It was my own thing, and people turned it into something else,” he says.
“An unbelievable player, the full nation knows what he means to the country and what he did,” Foden said. “It wouldn’t be too bad if I tried to bring a bit of Gazza on the pitch. I’ve dyed it now so it’s got to stay around, not going away any time soon.”
