Eminem hits another new milestone through “Without Me”.
The legendary Eminem continues making new milestones every day as his 2002 hit “Without Me” music video surpassed 1 Billion Views on Youtube. It became Eminem’s fourth video, after ‘Love The Way You Lie‘, ‘Not Afraid‘ & ‘Rap God‘, to reach that landmark. The song was the lead single of his classic 2002 album ‘The Eminem Show‘.
The track is one of the most successful Eminem singles, reaching number two in the US Billboard Hot 10, and number one in 15 countries. It was re-released on the Detroit Rapper’s greatest hits compilation album “Curtain Call” in 2005 and also included in the soundtrack to 2016 DC’s film Suicide Squad. The track won multiples accolades, including the Best Music Video trophy at the Grammy Awards 2003. Along with Dr. Dre, The Music Video also featured Po*n Star Jenna Jameson and fitness model Kiana Tom.
Eminem is the first Hip-Hop artist to have that many music videos with 1 Billion Views. Along with reaching 1 Billion on Youtube, The song also surpassed 700 Million Streams on Spotify.
Eminem’s single “Lose Yourself” also surpassed one billion Spotify listens earlier this year, and Em has subsequently agreed to let the song be used in a Biden-Harris campaign ad as a sign of support. After a long and anxious election week, several fans half-jokingly credited Em with Biden’s victory in Michigan, which helped secure the electoral numbers to make Joe Biden the president-elect. Eminem’s discography is extensive, and many rap fans and Biden supporters are likely contributing to the high streaming statistics this week as a result of their joy and enthusiasm over Biden’s triumph.
“Without Me” has now surpassed 700 MILLION streams on Spotify.
