Dr. Dre made history tonight with an iconic Super Bowl performance with his fellow rappers Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige. In the halftime show between the game of Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams, the hip hop icons produced a performance for the ages.
The star-studded crowd sees the performance which featured classics like “The Next Episode”, “California Love”, “In Da Club”, “Family Affair”, “Alright” and more. The Detroit rapper performed his hit “Lose Yourself” before taking the knee in Colin Kaepernick style in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement.
As we reported previously, Eminem’s daughters Alaina Marie and Hailie Scott also arrived in the city ahead of their dad’s highly anticipated super bowl performance. Now Hailie Jade shares stories of her watching the performance from Dr. Dre, Eminem and others. She was accompanied by Eminem’s half brother Nathan Mathers, and Alaina Marie Scott.
“Here for the halftime show, staying for Stafford,” along with a football emoji, she wrote next to the upload.
Hailie caught her father raising his fist in the air and looking out into the crowd before beginning to walk across the stage while singing the words of his award-winning song in Instagram Story footage.
Jesse Collins, the executive producer of this year’s halftime show, explained how Anderson. Paak’s unexpected appearance came about after the concert. “That was a Dre idea,” he revealed. “Just one day, he said, ‘I think Anderson should play drums for Eminem,’ and Em was into it and Anderson came out of Silk Sonic rehearsals… and he joined us and he’s amazing!” As for the show as a whole, Jesse said, “We proved tonight that hip hop is part of the Americana, it is part of our culture. Just like rock n’ roll, country, hip hop is right there and it’s never going away and it is Americana, period.”

After performing an iconic song, Eminem ended his segment of the performance by kneeling in solidarity with NFL players who have utilised the gesture as a form of protest, most notably Colin Kaepernick.
According to some sources, Eminem was warned by the NFL not to kneel, but he opted to do it regardless when the time arrived. On Sunday, an NFL spokeswoman told ET that claims that the league tried to suppress Eminem’s intention to kneel “are false.”

“We watched every rehearsal this week and that element was included,” the NFL spokesperson said. “Players and personnel members could have taken a knee today so there would have been no reason to tell a performer he or she could not for whatever reason.”
In a March 2020 interview on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Eminem expressed his pride in his daughter and expressed his support for her. He said, “She’s doing good.” “She’s made me proud for sure .” He went on to explain that Hailie, his daughter with ex Kim Mathers, graduated from Michigan State University with a 3.9 GPA while studying psychology. “It definitely is crazy,” Eminem said of how much his daughter has grown up.
With 2.4 million Instagram followers, Mathers is a celebrity in her own right. She usually shares material related to lifestyle, fashion, and beauty. She posted pictures and videos from the Super Bowl and her dad’s performance on Instagram to memorialize her presence.
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg performed “The Next Episode” in the show’s opening minutes, and Mathers shared numerous videos of her father’s performance, in which he erupted from a lineout to rap “Forgot About Dre” and his 2002 song “Lose Yourself.”
