Eminem sets a historic Billboard Record with “Curtain Call”.
While Gen Z trying to Cancel Eminem, Detroit continues creating new records on the music charts. The 2005’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” compilation album by Eminem has now spent 520 weeks on the Billboard 200, which makes it the first Hip-Hop project to spend a full decade on the chart.
It is now the 6th longest-running album in Billboard 200 history, behind Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon (958 weeks), Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend (669 weeks), Journey’s Greatest Hits (659 weeks), Metallica’s self-titled album (598 weeks), and Guns N Roses’ Greatest Hits (520 weeks).
The album includes Eminem’s most successful tracks as well as four new songs, including a live version of “Stan” performed at the 43rd Grammy Awards with Elton John, as well as the songs “Fack,” “When I’m Gone,” and “Shake That” with Nate Dogg.
In a recently released list by IFPI, Eminem is also among the Top 10 global artists of 2020.
