Eminem makes RIAA history as he becomes the most certified singles artist.
Eminem continues his monumental milestone run following this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show performance, as he now becomes the top certified singles artist in RIAA history. RIAA has announced 73.5 new certified units for the Detroit Rapper, and he’s now the number 1 singles artist in Gold and Platinum History. The new certifications make it 166 million total career single awards for Eminem.

He’s is also now the RIAA top certified artist with a total of 227.5 million units, which includes 166 million singles and 61.5 million album units. Along with that, Eminem’s greatest hits album “Curtain Call: The Hits” goes Diamond after moving 10 million copies.

The album which was dropped back in 2005, includes Eminem’s greatest tracks like “My Name Is”, “Stan”, “Lose Yourself”, “Without Me”, “The Real Slim Shady” and more. Last month, the album saw a major jump on Billboard charts as it returned to the top 10 with moving over 31k units. Recently, the album also becomes the first Hip Hop act to have a project hit 500 weeks on the albums charts in the UK.
