Hailie Jade attended his father Eminem’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
Eminem adds one more prestigious honour to his legendary career as the rapper was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last night at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. The rapper was inducted by his longtime friend and mentor Dr. Dre, who gave a long speech in appreciation of Marshall Mathers.
Eminem then hit the stage for a live performance of six of his classics, where he was assisted by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Ed Sheeran. During his speech, Shady recalled being addicted to drugs and almost losing his life. But, he did tell his daughter Hailie, who was in attendance, to plug her ears.

“I almost died from an overdose in 2007, which kind of s**ked,” he said. “Hailie, plug your ears: because drugs were f—ing delicious, and I thought we had a good thing going man, but I had to go and f— it all up and take too many. God damn. OK Hailie.”
“OK, so. Hold on, I lost my motherf—in’ spot. Paul, did I say, I said drugs were delicious, right? And finally, I had to really fight my way through man to try and break through in this music, and I’m so honored and I’m so grateful that I’m even able to be up here doing hip-hip music, man, because I love it so much.”
Eminem also praised a community of artists for inspired him throughout his address “I realise what an honour it is right now to be here up here tonight, and what a privilege it is to do the music that I love. Music basically saved my life … I’ll keep this as painless as possible,” he began. “I’m probably not supposed to actually be here tonight because of a couple of reasons. One, I know that I’m a rapper, and this is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There’s only a few of us who have been inducted already.”
