Eminem gives props to Kendrick Lamar.
Eminem made an appearance on Shade 45 for the 20th Anniversary special episode along with Paul Rosenberg. In the episode, the Detroit rapper talked about Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Shady Records projects and more.
The rapper was asked about a collab with 50 Cent. “That would be great, we just gotta stop bulls–ting and just do it. I would never say its not possible,” said Eminem. “I would love to hear it so whenever you guys are ready we are putting out,” said Rosenberg.
“We’ve got projects on the way from Westside Boogie, from Ez Mil and GRIP,” says Rosenberg. “How much work do you want me to do here? 50 [Cent] album, a Bad Meets Evil album, Encore 3. Encore 2? There’s no 2. Or just go straight to 3?” responds Eminem jokingly.
He was also asked about Grammys 2025, for which Kendrick Lamar earned seven nominations. “It’s very stiff competition. Kendrick is gonna sweep that s–t. He’s going to win and he should,” said Eminem. “Kendrick should win some awards and I’m not talking about the categories you [Eminem] are in. He definitely should win but lets see what happens,” says Rosenberg.
This year, Kendrick earned nominations for Song of the Year, Best Rap Song, record of the year, Best Rap Performance and best music video.
