Is Eminem coming to the Australia tour this year?
The rumours are coming in that Eminem is scheduled to perform in Australia later this year. As reported by Daily Mail, an anonymous caller reached out to 104.7 Triple M on Tuesday, and made the claim that he received the exciting news through a source who works for Ticketek Australia.
According to the anonymous caller, Eminem will be performing at Adelaide Oval later this year, a stadium which can hold a crowd of approx 53,000 people. “I heard a big name is coming to town at the end of the year and it’s Eminem.. a friend of a friend let it slip from Ticketek,” the caller claimed on the phone. “They are currently working with Adelaide Oval to sort out a venue.”
It’s been a decade since Eminem performed in Australia, as he visited the country in 2013 as part of the Rapture Tour.
Eminem’s rumoured Austalia performance could be 50 Cent, who recently announced the world tour “The Final Lap” in celebration of “Get Rich Or Die Tryin” 20 years anniversary.
It’s been around three years since Eminem last dropped an album, as he shared his eleventh effort “Music To Be Murdered By” through Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records in early 2020. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 279,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. The project featured Skylar Grey, Young MA, Royce da 5’9, Ed Sheeran, Juice WRLD, Black Thought, Anderson .Paak, KXNG Crooked, Joell Ortiz, Don Toliver and more.
The rapper then released the deluxe edition later that year, with additional 16 tracks and guest appearances from DJ Premier, Ty Dolla Sign, Dr. Dre, White Gold, Dr. Dre and more.
