Eminem Annotate Cleanin’ Out My Closet Intro, reveals having no snare.
The Detroit Rapper Eminem has already done a few Annotations of his biggest hits track in Genius. Now He’s back with another one, this time Eminem Annotated his Intro of 2002 track “Cleanin’ Out My Closet” where Eminem Says, “”Where’s my snare? I have no snare in my headphones.” on Explaining it, Slim Says “This was true,” Eminem writes. “I was recording and couldn’t hear the snare, the engineer had it muted for some reason. I left it.”
Eminem’s The Eminem Show, which has sold over 10 million copies, has “Cleanin Out My Closet.” Eminem has already left annotations on Genius, so it’s no surprise that he’s becoming more involved with the lyric site. Last November, the owner of Shady Records became an investor on the site.
“Coming up we would always obsess over the lyrics from our favorite MCs. Picking everything apart, trying to get into their heads,” Eminem said in a statement at the time. “I still do that today and Genius helps to make it a worldwide conversation. Pretty amazing to me.”
