Even though he hasn’t released an album in over 2 years, Eminem was so active throughout 2022. He kicked off 2022 with a historic performance at the NFL Super Bowl halftime show along with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige.
Recently, he released a deluxe edition of his “8 Mile” Soundtrack to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album. In August, Marshall Mathers released his new greatest hits compilation album “Curtain Call 2”, featuring some of his top hits since 2009. The double disc album featured 16 tracks, including his most recent release “The King And I” with CeeLo Green, and “From The D 2 The LBC” with Snoop Dogg. Last month, he was also honoured with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
The Detroit rapper continued his domination on Youtube even in 2023, as he’s been the most-viewed rap artist on the platform in the first half of this year. In May, the Detroit rapper earned 418 million views in the month of April, which is almost double of second place Drake, who earned 228 million views.
