Eminem enters the Fortnite world with new skins and a live show.
Last month, Eminem announced surprise inclusion in the Fortnite world as the rapper’s new skins went live in the popular online game. The rapper also announced a live concert, which went live on Saturday’s in-game event.
The virtual Eminem event was titled The Big Bang, which millions of fans, mostly first-timers tuned in on Saturday. However, the fans left disappointed as the Detroit rapper’s appearance only lasted around four minutes. In the short live virtual event, Eminem’s Fortnite skins performed “Lose Yourself” and “Godzilla”, including a moment with featured artist late Juice WRLD.

Following the short event, the rapper announced new Fortnite vinyl and merch collab, and the items went live on his official website.

Eminem now joins the likes of Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Marshmello and others who featured in the Fortnite metaverse virtual event. Eminem skins are now officially available to purchase in Fortnite, which includes the looks based on Slim Shady and Rap Boy from the “Without Me” music video.
Eminem’s been having a crazy last couple of years (2022-2023):
-Performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show and won an Emmy for it
-Headlined a concert in Fortnite
-Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (only a handful of rappers have done so)

Both the tracks are among Eminem’s most streamed songs on Spotify. While Lose Yourself is closing in on 2 billion mark, and currently is rapper’s most streamed track, Godzilla is at number 7 with around 1.3 billion streams.
