Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar & Dr. Dre will perform at NFL Super-Bowl 2022 Halftime Show.
In a huge surprise, NFL, Pepsi & Roc Nation has announced that Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg & Mary J. Blige will perform at their 2022 Super-Bowl Pepsi Halftime Show. Next year, the Super-Bowl will take place in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium on Feb. 13. The five artists have combined for 43 Grammys and have created 22 No. 1 Billboard albums.
“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a statement. “I’m grateful to JAY-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”

“On February 13, 2022, at the Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, California, in the new SoFi Stadium, Dr. Dre, a musical visionary from Compton, Snoop Dogg, an icon from Long Beach and Kendrick Lamar, a young musical pioneer in his own right, also from Compton, will take center field for a performance of a lifetime,” JAY-Z said in a statement. “They will be joined by the lyrical genius, Eminem, and the timeless Queen, Mary J. Blige. This is the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is history in the making.”
Previously, Snoop Dogg hinted at the performance for next year’s Super-Bowl, which actually turned out to be true. In May, Snoop Dogg did an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, where he revealed that he’s available to perform at the event, as well as his fellow artists Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Kendrick Lamar. Mary J. Blige is an additional name who’s added for next year’s show.
“Hopefully the NFL will be smart and make the right decision. It’s in Inglewood, California, and it will make the most sense in the world,” said Snoop. “I’m available, Dre’s available, Eminem available, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, whoever Dr. Dre wants to pull out of his hat to make this thing a professional event and make it big and the biggest effort they can have. It’s just a matter of the NFL pulling the trigger.”
“This effort will help develop and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators. We are excited about the additional opportunities this partnership will bring to our students,” Los Angeles Unified Interim Superintendent Megan K. Reilly said. According to Variety, DPS will create the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, which will be directed by Hamish Hamilton and executive produced by Roc Nation and Jesse Collins. In addition, Roc Nation is working as the live performance’s strategic entertainment consultant.
The 2021 NFL Super-Bowl event was headlined by The Weeknd, who gave an incredible performance at the halftime show.
