Eminem becomes the first artist to achieve this Billboard 200 milestone.
Eminem continues to earn more accolades as the rapper’s most recent studio album “Music To Be Murdered By” helped him earn another new milestone. According to Chart Data, the Detroit Rapper’s eleventh studio album has now spent a monumental 2 full years on Billboard 200 chart. It becomes the first album of the 2020s to achieve this milestone.

In its first week, the album opened at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 279,000 album-equivalent copies. The album was released on January 17, 2020, as a surprise project by Eminem, similar to his previous effort “Kamikaze”. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard 200 and made him the first artist to have 10 consecutive number-one albums in the US and one of six artists to have released at least ten US number-one albums.
The album features guest appearances from KXNG Crooked, Juice WRLD, Ed Sheeran, Skylar Grey, Young MA, Don Toliver, Anderson .Paak, Royce Da 5’9″ and more.
Earlier today, Eminem earned his first-ever nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2022.
