Eminem was the most viewed rapper on Youtube in May.
It’s been over 2 years since Eminem dropped an album, but the rapper is still among the top artists on music streaming platforms. The Detroit rapper was the most viewed hip-hop artist on Youtube in 2021, and now he continues his domination in 2022. Even though he hasn’t dropped a music video in a long time, he still gained more views than any other rap artist in the world last few months.
In May 2022, Eminem earned 310 million views on his Youtube channel. The rapper had 317 million views in the month of April. Last week, the Detroit Rapper dropped an expanded edition of his iconic “The Eminem Show” on the 20th anniversary. He also teased a new song “The King & I” with CeeLo Green, and it will appear on the Elvis Movie Soundtrack next month.

The second on the list is Doja Cat with 270 million views, who is riding high on her last year’s “Planet Her” album. Doja Cat was the most nominated rapper at this year’s Grammy Awards and won her first-ever trophy for SZA collaboration “Kiss Me More“ in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
There’s a change on the third spot this month, as Kendrick Lamar took NBA Youngboy’s place with 258 million views on his youtube. Lamar made his return to music this month, as he dropped his long-awaited new album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers“. Lamar’s fifth studio album, a follow up to 2017’s Pulitzer-winning effort “DAMN”, has sold 295,500 equivalent units in the first week, which is the biggest of this year.
Em was the champion in 2019 and 2020 & there is still no stopping him. Em is in the lead with only one original video published this year. We previously reported on Vevo data for the United Kingdom, but worldwide figures are now available. Eminem has had 4.39 billion fresh views in 2021. It’s easy to forecast, given daily growth of 10 to 15 million views.
The majority of viewers were from Em’s own nation. Em’s statistics include 1.19 billion views from US traffic. The United Kingdom is the Marshall country’s second most devoted ally. In 2021, the British viewed his videos 227 million times. Brazil had the third most devoted fanbase, with 223 million views to Slim’s total.
