It was recently announced that next year it will be the last season of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, as Ellen decided to wrap up the show with its next and final 19th season. “The truth is, I always trust my instincts. My instinct told me it’s time,” she said. “Two years ago, I signed a deal for three more years and I always knew in my heart that season 19 would be my last. I want you to know that I’ve thought a lot about this decision. I sat with it for a while. I meditated on it.”
We’ll have to wait and see if Ellen is successful in catching Eminem. Drew Barrymore recently featured 50 Cent on her show, where they delivered a video message to Slim Shady. He did respond, but it was after Fif had already exited Barrymore’s act.
It would be interesting to see if she is able to get Eminem on her show, as he doesn’t appear in any talk shows anymore, and rarely does interviews, apart from some occasional sit-downs with his close affiliates. Previously, TV icons like Martha Stewart and Dan Rather also showed the desire to have Marshall Mathers on their shows. Dan Rather has said that Eminem is number one on his guest wishlist. “Eminem. Number one, he has been very successful for a very long time. Number two, he doesn’t do very many interviews. He’s very hard to get. Third, he’s an intriguing character with a really good story to tell,” he said.
Knowing how slowly Internet news reaches Marshall, he’ll find out about it after the season is finished. Em had already ceased appearing on chat shows. His previous visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! was three years ago. Nonetheless, he remained silent in that room. I just departed after singing “Venom” from the Empire State Building’s rooftop.
