Ebro Darden Says Eminem's Music Will Not Work In VERZUZ Battles

Ebro Darden implies no one wants to see Eminem in a VERZUZ battle.

VERZUZ battles are currently the hot topic in hip hop, after recent showdowns between The LOX vs Dipet, Ja Rule vs Fat Joe. Fans and artists want more Rap icons to enter the event, including Diddy who recently called out Dr. Dre for a battle. Radio Personality Ebro Darden also got into a conversation about the VERZUZ battle, where he implies that not many want to see Eminem in the event. He said that Eminem music doesn’t fit the vibe of Verzuz battles.

Even if one’s views are incorrect, it is one’s right to have an opinion. As soon as a well-known platform serves to amplify these viewpoints, they become harmful. Therefore, no one of consequence originally became engaged in Low’s discussion, but when Ebro Darden arrived to endorse this point of view, several actors were irritated by the ignorance.

Ebro Darden is a well-known hip-hop personality that hosts one of the most popular podcasts on Apple Music, where he expresses his views. His subjectivity absorbs the global corporation’s power, which provided him the opportunity to express his ideas. And he had the following thoughts:

Last month, Charlamagne Tha God also responds to talks about Eminem doing a VERZUZ, where he said that he would get washed by rappers like Young Thug and Future. “Eminem gets washed in any Verzuz bro. Any Verzuz,” said Charlamagne. “Em don’t have songs like that. Em can rap and we like Eminem as a rapper. Future washes Eminem in Verzuz. 6ixN9ne would wash him too, depending on the generation. Em don’t got nothing that slaps like GUMMO to these kids. Young Thug washes Eminem in a Verzuz.”

Ebro also conversed with followers on Twitter after shocking everyone with what some may call a heated take on Eminem. The radio host compared Em’s approach to rap to the approach he believes Black people must take to life, and not everybody appears to agree. “Eminem treats Rap how Black folks have had to treat life…” Ebro said. “Be 5x better, work 5x harder than everyone and still not necessarily get respect.”
