Drake shows love to Eminem and Snoop Dogg.
Drake is one of the artists who often show appreciation for Rap legends, as well as other emerging artists. The “Certified Lover Boy” rapper who recently celebrated his 35th Birthday, decided to start his Thursday with some love to Eminem and Snoop Dogg.
It looks like, Drake had been watching the footage of the iconic “Up In Smoke Tour” of 2000, which featured icons like Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Xzibit and more. Drizzy shared the picture of Eminem performing at the tour and called him underappreciated. “Man this guy is under appreciated @eminem,” he wrote.

Snoop Dogg and Eminem will be performing together once again, as they will headline the Superbowl halftime show with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige. Snoop Dogg and Eminem are also collaborating on a new joint, and according to Snoop Dogg, “that motherf**ker slap.”
Although he hasn’t reacted to the compliments, Eminem recently paid Drake tribute on Nas’ album King’s Disease II. “I just pray for the day when I’m able to say that I’m placed with the greats / And my name’s with the Kanes, and the Waynes, and the Jays,” Slim Shady raps on “EPMD 2.” “And the Dres, and the ‘Yes, and the Drakes / And the J Dillas, Jadas, Cool Js, and the Ras…”
The Up In Smoke Tour, perhaps the largest West Coast Hip Hop tour of all time, featured Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as well as Eminem, Ice Cube, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Kurupt, and many more. Between June and August of 2000, the North American tour visited approximately 40 locations.
Ice Cube recently spoke with HipHopDX about the Up In Smoke Tour, and he couldn’t help but giggle at Eminem’s role as an opening act, given his now-legendary reputation. “I mean, at the time, Eminem was opening up, you know,” he said. “Like, after Warren G, Eminem was going on. So that just shows you the level that we were at, that we was on. He could’ve headlined.”
